Pine Tree Look Out (It's now called Dome Mountain and there are maps at the Visitor Information Centre - 365 Hamilton River Road).
Muskrat Falls - a steep treacherous hike, but worth the view.
Causeway/Bridge View - park along the side and look up and down the Churchill River.
Sunday Hill - Watch the sunset with 360 degree view of Central Labrador.
Geocache - There are nearly 200 caches around central Labrador.

In support of the David J Hopkins Memorial Walk for Muscular Dystrophy

Where: Kinsmen Centre, 41 Grenfell Street, Happy Valley - Goose Bay
Time: 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Starting Saturday, August 6 (and every Saturday up to and including September 17) there will be a Community Outdoor Market at Kinsmen Park, Happy Valley - Goose Bay! The markets will run from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. and admission is FREE!

There will be all sorts of stuff to puchase, such as, fresh produce, poultry & eggs, jewellery, arts & crafts, baked goods & jams and much more!

During the month of August, there will be a Youth Conference (YC) held in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL, beginning on Friday August 12, 2011 continuing through Sunday August 14, 2011. This conference will be held at The Lawrence Obrien Arts Center.
